Alternate weeks for the “Pain Train” from the Glider Café Layby (summer months).
Sport (17-19 mph) and Intermediate Ride (15-16 mph): 9am from the Upper Lock café.

Progression Group: 9am from the Upper Lock café. Up to 4o miles around 15mph, this group is designed for people new to group riding that might have a training goal such as their first century ride.

All rides are weather dependent, check the Facebook group for updates.
We have a Stroud Valley Velos RideGPS account that every official member has access to. This way routes can all be in one place and we can refer back to rides once we have a collection of them.
Please make sure you have the route uploaded if you have a Garmin or a phone with routing ability. Please do not rely solely on the ride leader.
Which group should I join?
We would encourage members to join the SVV Strava group. This is just a suggestion and not mandatory but if you are in any doubt of which group to be in you should be able to see where you are compared to others in the club.
Rides start promptly so please ensure that you are there to start by the allotted time.
Please ensure that your bike is roadworthy, you are wearing a helmet and that you have sufficient water, food and spares for the ride. In the winter please also ensure that you bring along working lights when appropriate. Also for your comfort and for the other riders around you, in wet weather mudguards are appreciated!
We will never leave a rider behind. The rides may not include a stop so ensure you bring sufficient food and drink with you for the ride.
